TL;DR
For first, i'd to be clear that i'm not participate in case of flows for all time of this proposal. And i'd really liked to wait for flows, but i made many sacrifices to honor the last proposal, even after hack, and at now i'm in delicated situation.
Renewal proposal for one year: New project Gnars documentary series exploring the athletes history from DAO, your journeys and impact on the Web3 ecosystem. And my bodyboarding content production will be directed directly to Gnars' YouTube.
1. Exclusive Content Production Creation of authentic and targeted videos for the Gnars YouTube channel, strengthening the connection with the Web3 and sports communities while highlighting the athletes' journeys and completed projects.
2. Live Streaming at Avalanche An epic day of big waves at Avalanche will be live-streamed on the Gnars Instagram, delivering exciting and unique content to engage the global community in real-time.
3. Representative Uniforms The use of Gnars uniforms, both in and out of the water, reinforces the brand's presence and identity in the most impactful settings, increasing audience identification with the athletes and the community.
I'm Bernardo Nassar, I'm 34 years old, I'm an extreme wave bodyboarder, content producer. One of those responsible for putting the state of Espírito Santo on the radar of the most extreme waves in the world.
I've been part of the community since February 2023. My first proposal was approved seven months ago. Unfortunately, my wallet was hacked, and I lost 90% of the funds. Despite this setback, I delivered part of the proposal, producing 8 vlog-style videos (averaging 10 minutes each), one retrospective film of 2024, and organizing two premiere events alongside Luiz Hadad for his film, 'IndoGnars 2.' I also received media coverage for my work.
In addition to the content focused on my work as a bodyboarder. I’m producing a documentary series for "GnarsTube", with the athletes of the Gnars DAO, exploring their journeys and impact on the Web3 ecosystem. Starting in Espírito Santo with Luiz, Zima, and myself, we’ll dive into our daily lives in surfing, bodyboarding, and our connection to the DAO. Next, we head to Rio de Janeiro to share inspiring stories from Nico, Sunny, Mari, Vlad, Beagle, Piu, DeathCat, Pharrá, Dino, and Surfguru, set in locations that bring together sports, art, and technology. We’ll wrap up in São Paulo with Will Dias and BlessSkateshop, connecting skateboarding, art, and the Web3 universe.
The content I've produced has been primarily hosted on the NXF Slab channel, which I manage. However, I intend to shift the focus to Gnars' YouTube channel to consolidate Web2 content in one place, strengthening the idea of transforming the Gnars channel into a 'Web3 Sports TV' hub.
The following two events were produced by @luizhadad and me, funded by Luiz's IndoGnars 2 proposal. These events celebrated our content creation journey and the opportunities Web3 has provided for advancing our work. For these events, I prepared the film 'Land of Slabs,' a retrospective of 2024.
I welcomed the biggest names in BigSurf and world content production to our city, the Hawaiian Nathan Florence, Lucas Chumbo, Gabriel Sampaio, among others.
I was very happy to have been approved as a Nounish athlete on Flows in the year 2024.
We'll make a great live on a really big swell on Gnars instagram, that will be presented by @zimadrp, on top of a jetski, during one hour or more (denpends of the audience). The ideia is make one live at the Avalanche wave, and the second at the "Coral do Céu", or another big slab.
